The Art of Relaxing
With Kadam Eve Arias, resident teacher at Odiyana Kadampa Buddhist Center.  So much of the stress and tension we normally experience comes from our mind, and many of the problems we experience, including poor health, are caused or aggravated by this stress. With the practice of meditation, we can learn to still the mind, allowing the turbulence of distracting thoughts to subside. Our mind then becomes more peaceful and calm. This feeling of contentment and well-being helps us to cope with the busyness and difficulties of daily life. Difficult situations will become easier to deal with, and our relationships with others will naturally improve. In this workshop, we will learn and practice simple meditations to use in daily life. No experience necessary. Everyone welcome! $25. meditationinconnecticut.org.
